Eddie and I just got back today from two comped nights at the new Pool Tower hotel at Winstar. We've stayed there many times since they opened it and the rooms are really nice and comfortable. We've stayed in a magnificent corner suite three times and really enjoyed them...nice!
We had a free dinner buffet and the food was very good! The free senior breakfasts on Wednesday and Thursday (today) were tasty but could have been better...don't want to complain as it was all free food!
Now for our slot play! Wow! The slots were hot! We played our rear ends off and didn't lose them...almost every machine I played gave me really nice bonuses. I came out almost two grand ahead. I mostly played random machines. Just kinda went wild...when a slot quit paying I just moved to another. I was playing fifty cents to two bucks a spin. Eddie did really well also. He won't bet more than fifty cents no matter what but he got lots of free spins and came out almost five hundred ahead. We hadn't seen the slots this loose in a very long time. Maybe it was just sheer luck but whatever it was we loved it!
We're booked for two more free nights in two weeks and I hope we win again! We're not going to give the money back...no way! I'm going to Kiowa casino which is twelve miles north of Wichita Falls TX across the Red River into Oklahoma with my senior group next Tuesday. Eddie won't go because he hates the two hour bus ride. I hope to do ok there...it's a small casino but I've won a bit there before...nothing grand, but it's a good outing with my group. I hope everyone is winning big! Joni

We usually go to Biloxi for our vacation. My husband has been in and out of the hospital 4 times this year so we are thinking about going to a casino closer to home. We would love to go to Coushatta but it is about an 8 hour drive for us. I am looking at airfare and we may fly in if we can get a cheap enough rate. If we go to Winstar it would be about a 3 hour drive. My question about Winstar is do they have any class III slot machines or are they all class II? We like to play a variety of machines. Our local Indian Casino has both kinds of machines. Also how is the smoke in Winstar? I found out they do not have any non smoking areas. As big as Winstar is you would think they would have an area or areas that are for non smokers. How hard is it to get your food and room comped at Winstar? Look forward to hearing from anyone that has been to Winstar.
We can also go to Choctaw in Durant. I know they have a non smoking area. Is it easy to get room comps and food comps at Choctaw? Does Choctaw have both class III and class II slot machines? Thanks everyone.
